Hi All,
There is a complex "SOC" which is an integration of 10 blocks,,, All the ten blocks were verified by different verification engineer completely to the max.. And finally a team is verifying at the system level which is a new verification environment to verify at the system level [i.e. SOC as a whole].
Now,
Is it enough if they had written separate BFM to verify the SOC [system level] i.e. just the verification of the handshaking process between the different blocks which says that from the system level perspective it is working properly??
OR
We have to write BFM that verify as the SOC as a whole as well which verifies each n every block solely along with the above mentioned handshaking process!!!
Kindly need in your feedbacks!!
